The NCLAT however stayed the operation of the order with respect to reinstatement for four weeks to allow Tatas to appeal.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, crude oil for December delivery dropped by Rs 32, or 0.74 per cent, to Rs 4,297 per barrel with a business volume of 14,733 lots.

Analysts said the fall in crude oil futures was mostly due to trimming of positions by traders amid weak global cues.

Shares of Jaypee Infratech were trading 9.26 per cent higher at Rs 1.77 apiece on the BSE.

In the meeting, the GST target was set at Rs 1.10 lakh crore every month between December 2019 and March 2020. Of these four months, Rs 1.25 lakh collections has to be achieved in at least one month, the sources said.

Gold prices rise marginally; silver gains Rs 75

Silver prices gained Rs 75 to Rs 45,610 per kg from Rs 45,535 per kg in the previous trade.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, crude for delivery in December traded higher by Re 1, or 0.02 per cent, to Rs 4,273 per barrel in 14,137 lots.
Crude oil futures gain marginally on global cues

Analysts said raising of bets by participants kept crude prices higher in futures trade here.
