Vedroop Products, makers and marketers of herbal products under Vedroop brand, is now on a retail expansion mode. The herbal brand is putting in place a chain of departmental stores called “Aap Ki Dukan” pan India.

As a starter – the company, which has its registered office in Thane, corporate office in Kolkata and manufacturing facility in Himachal Pradesh – will roll out a chain of 150 outlets across West Bengal over a period of two years.

The “Aap Ki Dukan” chain will have its presence pan India, said Arnab Roy, director- sales, Vedroop Products.

Interestingly, the chain of outlets will offer an assortment of millions of products across diverse categories covering grocery and health & beauty, and accessories, gifts & toys etc. And all this from local, as well as regional, national and international brands for an unparalleled shopping experience for everyone.

At present, Vedroop offers beauty products, miracle and auspicious products in form of incense sticks, along with other products from its stable. “Vedroop, at present, is working on to develop products that would create a balance between the wisdoms offered in the Vedic philosophy and the modern day outlooks keeping in mind an individual’s escalating time and monetary constraints in present days’ perspective.

Currently, the five-year-old brand has 210 retailers along with 50 spiritual retailers and 30 stockists. It has now set a target to employ 5000 trained staff and other 5000 business vendors in form of retailers, spiritual retailers, stockists and distributors. The company will also offer the opportunity for salaried employment with a choice of area, position and salary slab as per qualification criteria. The incentive on achieving targets shall be high. Business vendors will have opportunity to choose their area, investment slab and Vedroop will provide excellent support towards building their business in their area, said Roy.

He added, “We are working on to develop products that would create a balance between the wisdom offered in the Vedic philosophy and the modern day outlooks keeping in mind an individual’s escalating time and monetary constraints in present day’s   perspective. The global market for herbal medicines currently stands at over $60 billion annually and the sale of herbal medicines is expected to get higher at 6.4 per cent an average annual growth rate. According to a World Health Organization (WHO) report, herbal medicines are lucrative globally and they represent a market value of over $ 43 billion a year.
