RIL to create end-to-end broadband services

the non-compete agreement with Anil Ambani, plans to create end-to-end solutions in the broadband space to address the complete digital value chain including rich content applications and services.

Mukesh Ambani, chairman RIL said at the annual general meeting today that the digital services would cover the domains of education, healthcare, entertainment, financial services and government citizen interfaces.

"We are in the process of conceptualsing our products and services. It is a once in a generation opportunity to improve the productivity and way of life of the consumers," said Ambani.

The project will gather momemtum in coming years, he said.

He said, broadband and its enabled services is the next big leap forward in digital transformation of knowledge economy.
