The BSE Sensex opened 3.44 percent lower on Tuesday.
DLF lost 9.96 per cent to settle at Rs 178.50.
Nifty dipped 72.20 points or 2.62 per cent, to close at 2,682.90.
Nifty in upward direction will face resistance at 2863.
Meanwhile, FIIs remained net buyers on Friday, putting in Rs 168.54 crore.
