WPI inflation eases to near 2-year low at 2.02 per cent in June

WPI inflation in June is the lowest in 23 months, since July 2017, when it was at 1.88 per cent.

Inflation has come down sharply from a peak of more than 12 per cent in 2013, and was below the RBI 4 per cent target.

Vegetable prices grew 2.87 per cent while overall food and beverages inflation stood at 1.38 per cent.
