One of the Jet Airways aircraft, parked in the Schiphol Airport in Amsterdam, has already been seized.

The airline’s financial and operational creditors, who are owed nearly Rs 30,000 crore ($4.20 billion) are likely to recover only $300-$400 million from the sale of Jet’s assets, the sources, who have direct knowledge of the matter, said.

The Dutch Court Administrator has also agreed before NCLAT not to sell the confiscated assets of debt-ridden Jet Airways.

The grounded airline owes more than Rs 8,500 crore to lenders.

Even after such flying rights are allocated to an airline, it must have slots at both the airports in order to start flight operations.

Etihad has consistently and constructively sought and advanced solutions to help resolve Jet's issues.

The counsel for the RP, Ashish Chhawchharia of Grant Thornton, said Jet Airways currently has no revenue from operations, hence not in a position to pay the employees.
