Choose stocks with caution

For the port and logistics sector, we have seen some dip in con tainer traffic. With weak global economic growth and lower demand, we have a cautious view on the same.

I think one has to be very careful in choosing stocks because in the present adverse environment, there are chances that small players would get out of the market. Although, interest rates are expected to peak off in a couple of months, we need to see how the situation in both global and domestic economies pans out.

The problems with the United States and the eurozone region and prices of commodities on our inflation rate.

Inflation would play a critical role as it would remain the primary factor for Reserve Bank India in lowering interest rates.
