Omaxe sees infrastructure order book rising to Rs 18-19b

Real estate developer Omaxe Ltd expects its infrastructure order book to grow to 18-19 billion rupees and sees gross debt falling to 12.50 billion rupees by end FY12, a top executive told Reuters on Tuesday.

"It (rise in order book) all depends on the few projects we have bid for, but our estimate is that we should end the year with the figure of 1,800-1,900 crore (rupees)," Omaxe Vice President, Investor and Strategic Relations, Sumit Arora, said.

"This (growth) would be mostly from government contracts, like what we have been doing already, so they are spread across the country."

The company has an order book of about 14.40 billion rupees as on date, he added.
