Olympia launches high-end villas on OMR
Olympia Group, which made a name for itself with Olympia Tech Park — the world’s largest certified green building — has now launched Olympia Panache to offer truly high-end luxury villas. The project, to come up at Navallur on OMR, Chennai’s happening IT Corridor, will offer 123 independent luxury villas on a sprawling 23 acres of land in the first phase.

Set to become the first large-scale luxury villa project, Panache comes with an option for independent swimming pools or private home elevators. Each villa will be open on all four sides, ensconced with picket fences shrouded in green with landscaped gardens with no compound wall in the front thereby giving the feel of a truly gated community experience.

“While anyone would have launched a residential apartment project, offering anywhere between 2,300 and 2,500 flats on 23 acres, we have chosen to offer a mere 123 independent villas. The density of development is phenomenally low,” claims Chandrakant Kankaria, director, Olympia Group.

The villas will offer the best that luxury can offer. To be built adapting Balinese architecture, it will feature imported composite marble, high-end toilets and the world’s best fixtures and fittings, besides private gardens and high quality landscape spread across a vast area of greenery. In fact, the villas will also be green in the truest sense, using eco-friendly materials and facilitating natural light and ventilation.

Naturally, the villas are priced in the range of Rs 2.75 crore to Rs 3.5 crore and each villa comes with a 4,500 sq ft to 6,000 sq ft usable area.

They have been designed in such a way that for every sq ft of built up area, an almost equivalent land area is included. In addition another 0.4 sq ft of land comes as part of the common area package to the buyers.

“Once completed, this will turn out to be an expat-friendly, high-end rental stock that Chennai has not seen so far. As a result, we are targeting this as a home for expatriates and top-level corporate living,” Ajit Chordia, managing director, Olympia Group, said. “When ready, Olympia Panache will solve all problems of high income living that has spread all along the ECR. The huge bungalows that are now rented out to expatriates do not offer the guarantee of serviceability,” he added.

A high-end clubhouse, besides facilities for tennis, gym and a swimming pool, coffee shop and party space as well as other amenities that are associated with luxury living will be on offer Other features will include high-end security, upgraded building management systems as well as video surveillance. “We have taken care to even provide multi-country usable plug points and international style modular kitchen that facilitates both cold and warm cooking,” pointed out Chandrakant.
