Oberoi Realty, the Mumbai-based 30-year-old BSE-listed developer, has launched a luxury residential project titled Oberoi Exquisite. The project is being developed within 80-acre Oberoi Garden City, billed as a ‘city within a city’ at Goregaon (East), a Mumbai suburb off Western Express Highway.

After completing and selling its first residential project Oberoi Woods in 2007, comprising 600 units of 2.5 BHK apartments spread over 32 storeys in three towers, the firm is now constructing 700 luxury apartments. Out of the 80-acre campus, about 32 acres is used for residential projects at the Oberoi Garden City.

“Spread across almost 32 acres and dotted with almost 3,000 trees, the project brings with it unmatched splendor to the Oberoi Garden City,” Reema Kundnani, vice-president, marketing and corporate communication at Oberoi Realty told Financial Chronicle. She said the firm had anchored residential project alongside a mall, an international school, a five-star hotel and a premium office complex. “This development provide customers a holistic living experience and fulfills their live, work, play and other lifestyle needs,” Kundnani said.

Oberoi Exquisite comprises three towers of 50 storeys each. “The project comprises three-BHK apartments in luxury and grande configurations with a 996 sq ft and 1,081 sq ft area, respectively,” Kundnani said. With a saleable price at Rs 16,000 per sq ft onward, these homes approximately cost around Rs 3.5 crore, she said.

“These apartments are at various stages of construction and will be ready for possession in the last quarter of 2014,” Kundnani said. With close proximity to the Western Express Highway and Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport, the residential project offers connectivity to most of the central business districts in Mumbai.

Along with three-BHK apartments, Oberoi Exquisite also offers duplex homes on the 45th floor and onwards. “The distinctive quality of the Oberoi Exquisite duplex is the double height glazed windows,” Kundnani said. She said the residents will have a constant source of natural light and minimised ambient noise compared with traditional windows. “The duplex homes also provide an expansive living room deck, which allows you to witness a good vision of the greenest patch in Mumbai,” Kundnani claimed.

“Oberoi Exquisite offers lifestyle amenities such as swimming pool, jogging tracks, kids’ play area, clubhouse, tennis court, squash court, skating rink, and bamboo garden,” the company said.
