Merlin adds another feature to Kolkata’s IT hub
Merlin Group has come up with a IT park Merlin Infinite at Sector V, Salt Lake, the IT hub of Kolkata. The B+G+18 tower offers units with sizes ranging from 2,000 sq ft to 17,000 sq ft.

“With the economy on a gradual revival mode, we believe this is an opportune moment to target commercial IT space segment. Our project will specifically cater to the SME IT companies addressing the need of high-end office infrastructure. IT is poised for an enormous growth with the rise of entrepreneurial vent-ures. As a result, the SME sector is exposed to greater opportunities for expansion and diversification within the segment. Merlin Infinite with its precise location and connectivity will provide the necessary service require-ments for the smaller IT ventures to succeed. In future, we also plan to add another 65,000 sq ft to IT commercial category with MerlinMatrix,” said Sushil Mohta, managing director, Merlin Group.

Merlin Infinite is a vertical megalith designed by J P Agrawal & Associates. It promises to offer an integrated business park environment. The 4.2 lakh sq ft of habitable high-end office space — rest earmarked for car parking that will accommodate 400 cars — will address the need-gap in high-end IT/ITeS office space market. The small units (1,000 sq ft to 3,000 sq ft) of leasable area will have fast appreciation and flexible investment options — over 90 per cent of the total leasable area has been already sold, said the spokesman of the group.

On offer at Merlin Infinite will be uninterrupted drinking water supply, double glazed glass facade to cut noise, dust, pollution and heat, superior quality fittings and fixtures, 100 per cent power backup, multi-level security system and parking space as well as a sports café.

“It will certainly come up as a place where living and working will be redefined. It’s intelligently designed to enhance functionality. It’s stylish yet innovative. Every workspace here is designed to cater to every discerning need,” said Mohta.
