Brigade Group forays into Hyderabad, unveils project
Brigade Group, a Bangalore-based developer, has forayed into Hyderabad’s rediential space with its premium offering Brigade at No. 7 at Banjara Hills.

According to MR Jaishankar, chairman and managing director of Brigade, the location figures in the list of much sought-after addresses. The project is aimed to tap demand from high net worth individuals (HNIs) who are willing to spend upwards of Rs 3.6 crore for a unit. This excludes car park and statutory expenses.

The company already had invited a select group of people from Hyderabad for a preview. The project is also being marketed in Dubai and the USA and is expected to be completed by June 2015.

The project will offer 55 dwelling units in 11 blocks with only one residence per floor. It will have three and four-bedroom units measuring between 3,350 sq ft and 3,510 sq ft. The residential blocks will be aligned in a way to ensure there is a lot of light and air.

About 80 per cent area will be left open for adding a lung space. Few highlighting features that the project will offer are a 10,000-sq ft clubhouse, a rooftop swimming pool, a fitness centre, a health club, an indoor games zone, landscaped gardens and children’s play area.

The waiting lounge, reception, lift lobby, living room and foyer would have marble flooring, while the master bedroom will have hardwood flooring with wooden skirting. The deck or the balcony would have tiles with a wood look finish.

The project will offer covered car parking for three cars per residence. They also have servant’s room with separate access. The three-bedroom unit will have 5 kw DG back up, while the four bedroom unit would have a 6 kw back up. However, pumps and lighting in common areas will have 100 per cent power back up.

The company is tying up with HDFC, ICICI Bank, Citibank and Axis Bank for loan assistance.

“There is a market for premium products mainly due to scarcity of land in premium localities. In fact, Brigade at No7 has seen a very encouraging response,” said Viswa Prathap Desu, VP— sales, Brigade Group.

Brigade has been operating since 1986 and has developed about 20 million sq ft real estate across 100 projects in offices, retail, hospitality and education segments.
