homes or the most commonly known vacation homes. These homes are located few kilometres away from the hustle bustle of a city and promise a lifestyle of comfort, luxury and future growth.

Disha Direct, a real estate marketing company, which has undertaken a number of projects at holiday destinations across Maharastra, has launched a project of vacation homes at Alibaug, a prominent seaside destination in the outskirts of Mumbai.

Bay Vista is a project of lavish apartments and lifestyle homes. The project comprises 141 lavish studio apartments and is located just 2.5 kilometres away from Varsoli Beach. The project is being developed by Alibaug-based Pradicon Group.

Bay Vista has three-storeyed residential buildings named as Pearl, Coral and Shell. The apartments have a kitchen, a bedroom, varying number of closets and an open balcony. The project also has additional facilities like clubhouse, swimming pool, restaurant, gymnasium and a game plaza.

“When we decided to launch our project in Alibaug, we thought it would be a good idea to start with studio apartments. People not just want to buy apartments in lifestyle destinations like Alibaug, they also want to rent them out to tourists. So, a studio apartment serves a good purpose,” said Santosh Naik, managing director, Disha Direct.

The project has already received a stupendous response. Investors are keen to be associated with this project for the location, construction and future prospect. “We have already sold out the Bay Vista project. The construction will be completed in a year,” said Naik.

Encouraged by the response, the company has decided to start another project called Bay Woods in Alibaug. Disha Direct will also launch another row house project called Palazo, which will be priced at Rs 40 lakh onwards. “We are also planning to launch a villa project in Alibaug which will cost over

Rs 1 crore,” he said.

The city of Alibaug is considered an emerging lifestyle destination of recent times, Alibaug is a favourite with the crème de la crème of Mumbai. It has earned itself the reputation of being the most sought after location for developing townships.

A proposed sea link is further supposed to reduce travelling time between Mumbai and Alibaug and the planned SEZs in Rewas-Mandwa region have the potential to generate huge job opportunities. “If the rail freight corridor that is supposed to connect Delhi and Rewas becomes functional, Alibaug’s prominence will grow manifold,” Naik added.
