Located on Poonamelle high road, 36 Carat will offer 36 elite homes priced between Rs 3.5 crore and Rs 5.5 crore, meant to cater to high-end buyers.
Akshaya, a leading Chennai-based property developer keen to mark a presence in other parts of south India, has unveiled 36 Carat, a residential apartment project symbolising a new high standard of luxury living.
Located on Poonamalle high road, an important arterial road in the city just opposite Hotel Dasaprakash, 36 Carat will offer 36 elite homes with a special focus of providing some serious pampering, literally per square inch of space.
“36 Carat is meant for the crème de la crème of Chennai. Conceived by an international architect, designed to world standards and opulently styled to be a minimalist marvel, the project offers a range of impressively spacious apartments ranging from around 3,000 sq ft to 4,400 sq ft on the higher side, which can be converted into a duplex home,” says T Chitty Babu, managing director, Akshaya.
The project is coming up on a 16-ground plot (one ground = 2,400 sq ft) and will accommodate the apartments in two 10-storeyed towers. Both the towers will be connected at the top floor and the connecting space will house a swimming pool. A roof top swimming pool is a first for Chennai in a residential project.
The features and amenities on offer include ingenious landscaping, themed gardens, snazzy fountains, paved driveway, broad sidewalks, reception lounge, video door phones, secured children’s play area, a clubhouse on the tenth floor pre-fitted with a fitness centre, mini-movie hall, Jacuzzi, indoor gaming zone, business centre and library.
“36 Carat will be a completely different offering in terms of what the city has seen before and all apartments will be smart homes, thereby setting a new standard. It will cater to global Indians, who are exposed to international standards of quality and design,” Chitty Babu said.
The apartments come in the price range of Rs 3.5 crore to Rs 5.5 crore. “It will be the most luxurious residential project and the quality will match the Rs 12,500 per sq ft price tag. The project will also boast of a 6,000 sq ft club house,” Chitty Babu points out, adding that “it will also be a green building and henceforth all commercial and residential development by Akshaya will be only green buildings.”
According to him, demand for high-luxury homes has always been steady. “Promoting homes for the high-end segment has never been a problem, since there is very little supply,” he says.
