These firms were inherited by Poddar from KK Birla, the erstwhile Birla clan patriarch. The Saroj Poddar group has 21 firms, joint ventures and subsidiaries, including the Birla inheritances, all of which will now come under a single brand, Adventz. Fresh investments will ramp up the group size to almost $5 billion in four years against $2.5-3 billion at present, group chairman Poddar said on Wednesday.
