Takeda Pharmaceutical Co, Japan's largest drugmaker, is in talks with Indian generic drugmakers Cipla and Lupin about buying one of the companies' pharmaceutical businesses, a business daily reported on Wednesday.
Ranbaxy Laboratories Ltd said on Monday that it has entered into an agreement with the Japanese drug maker Takeda Pharmaceuticals for ending the patent litigation regarding diabetic drug Actos.
