Hong Kong share prices opened up 0.7 per cent on Tuesday, a rebound limited by the weakness in mainland Chinese stock exchanges, dealers said.
The benchmark Hang Seng Index was off 354.85 points at 20,907.04. China Mobile dropped 2.4 per cent, marking a new low over a 52-week period as investors remained bearish about its earnings outlook.
