The proposed software research and development, product and customer service centre in Hyderabad centre would be employing directly and indirectly about 4800 employees with approximate annual salary bill of US $ 55 million. This will be the second world headquarters, next biggest to its Atlanta centre.

The majority of workforce will be constituted of highly qualified professionals, like engineers & MBAs. The proposed new facility in Andhra Pradesh will require roughly 650,000 sft built-up leased space in an SEZ. The Hyderabad facility will be the hub of NCR’s business in Asia Pacific supporting global financial markets in the region.

Senior management from NCR Corporation including its government relations and emerging business opportunities vice-president Tim Heffernan, its realisations head Phil Ventimiglia and others called on IT and Communications minister Ponnala Lakshmaiah to discuss the modalities of setting up their operations in Hyderabad.

NCR Corporation has 22,000 employees worldwide and a turnover of US $5 billion.
