Mahindra Satyam expands in Malaysia

its international expansion plans. It plans to open its global solution center (CGS) operations in a 15 acre campus in Cyberjaya, the country’s prominent info-comm technology (ICT) corridor.

Mahindra Satyam plans to move more global software development and delivery operations there. At present, the centre has a strength of 500 full-time engineers, the Hyderabad-based company said.

“This latest development which takes place just five months after the new owners, Tech Mahindra, gained control of the Hyderabad-based software company, demonstrates the continued commitment of the company’s new owners to Malaysia’s strategic role in Mahindra Satyam’s global growth plans,” it said.

“Malaysia’s favourable corporate environment backed by unwavering government support, were factors behind the further commitments we are making to the country,” Rohit Gandhi, senior vice president, Asia Pacific, said.
