Casting couch If it’s happening, then it’s very bad, says Ranbir

After veteran choreographer Saroj Khan drew flak for her insensitive comment on the existence of casting couch in Bollywood, Ranbir Kapoor too shocked many with his comment on the same. At the teaser launch of his Rajkumar Hirani film ‘Sanju’ on Tuesday, Kapoor was asked about casting couch in Bollywood, to which the actor replied: “I’ve never faced it in Bollywood. But if it is happening, then it’s very bad.”

Vidhu Vinod Chopra, the producer of “Sanju,” too dodged a direct answer. 

Free-scoring Salah crowned PFA Player of the Year

Mohamed Salah was crowned the Premier League’s Players’ Player of the Year, with his incredible 41-goal debut season at Liverpool beating out strong competition from Manchester City’s Kevin de Bruyne.

Gangjee ends long title drought

Having endured years of frustrations, the 39-year-old hit his bunker shot to within 10 feet of the pin before holing it to complete a final round of three-under-par 68 and end his winless streak.

Gangjee aggregated 14-under-par 270 to finish ahead of the Korean duo of Hyungsung Kim (70) and Junggon Hwang (66) in the event co-sanctioned by the Asian Tour and the Japan Tour.

Benedict Cumberbatch says the best way to deal with bullies is to show them one’s “love.” The 41-year-old actor says one has to “empathise” with bullies and at the same time try “not (to) hate yourself,” Femalefirst reported. “This is a really, really difficult subject. As hard as it may seem, you have to meet it with love. You have to try and empathise with behaviour and not hate yourself but understand why people often want to damage other people, it’s because they’re damaged themselves,” Cumberbatch told 14-year-old YouTube star Sophia Grace.

India’s only gold medallist in athletics at the 21st Commonwealth Games, young javelin thrower Neeraj Chopra has set his eyes at achieving a distance of 90m consistently to enhance his chances of winning a medal at the Olympics.
