The company carries data traffic from all 22 circles in India serving around 250 million subscribers, the highest in the country. The solution helps reduce total-cost-of-ownership and maximise future revenue opportunities for operators, while addressing growing bandwidth requirements he said.
The solution includes fair use policies enabling operators to deliver consistent service quality to all subscribers, irrespective of their data usage. Operators can also generate additional revenue by prioritising subscribers, services and applications with a ‘bandwidth on demand’, he said. Meanwhile, the company has appointed Sandeep Girotra its new business head in India.
