The Corporate Affairs Ministry will get a budgetary allocation of Rs 255.25 crore for the next fiscal.

According to the Interim Budget proposals, the government has earmarked Rs 255.25 crore in the next fiscal (2014-15) as compared to Rs 233.36 crore in the revised estimates for this fiscal, indicating a growth of 9.4 per cent.

This includes an allocation of Rs 24 crore towards plan expenditure and Rs 231.25 crore for non-planned expenditure, as per Interim Budget presented by Chidambaram in Parliament today.

The think-tank Indian Institute of Corporate Affairs (IICA), which comes under the MCA, would be one of the major beneficiary.

It would get Rs 22.76 crore in the next fiscal, against the revised estimate of Rs 18.23 crore in 2013-14 period.
