a computer with online marketplace eBay starting an auction to raise money for charity.

The auction, which began on June 22, is scheduled to end on June 26 and the opening bid for the lunch is $ 25,000, according to eBay website.

The proceeds from the auction would go to Glide Foundation, an institution that works to alleviate human suffering and poverty in the San Francisco Bay Area.

The winner of the annual fundraiser will have lunch with world's second richest man Warren Buffet in New York and can bring up to seven friends along with him, the website stated.

The auction has attracted 29 bidders so far to buy the lunch with the highest bid at $ 71,100, three days after the beginning of the auction till now. Last year, charity auction for lunch with Buffett had sold for as much as $ 2.11 billion on eBay.Buffett has described Glide as "...Maybe the most effective organisation I've seen for people down on their luck."

Last year, eBay had auctioned, a painting of billionaire investor. The 36-square-foot portrait of Buffett, also known as 'Oracle of Omaha,' had been painted in less than 10 minutes by renowned performance artist Michael Israel during the shareholders meeting of Berkshire Hathaway.
