from this October, taking the total number of flights each week to five.

JAL, which now operates round-trip flights on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays, would also fly on Thursdays from October 30, the airline group said in a release.

Observing that Narita-Delhi was a route with "a robust high-yield corporate demand", it said the decision to increase frequencies on this sector was taken after analysing the current supply and demand conditions.

The analysis led to an increase in flight frequencies on routes with substantial demand and a reduction in the number of flights on some of its domestic sectors to raise load factors and improve revenue, the release said.

The airline group increased domestic frequencies on six sectors and slashed flights on two from October 30, the release added.
