IT search in offices, manufacturing units of Aurobindo Pharma

The IT department conducted searches at Aurobindo Pharma corporate office and 13 manufacturing units.

The searches are likely to go on for a day or two.

The company was to conduct its board meeting today to consider the December quarter results but postponed it.

IT department officials confirmed the searches. However, company officials were not available for comment.

In a filing to the BSE, Aurobindo said: "The board meeting proposed on February 10 has been postponed due to unavoidable circumstances.”

The company decided to hold its board meeting on February 13.

For the quarter ended September 2011, the company had revenues of 95.76 crore. For the year ended March 2011, its revenues were 414.11 crore.

The company's stock on the BSE closed at Rs 110.65, down 5.67 per cent from the previous close of Rs 117.30.
