India's services exports in Feb at $ 13.16 billion

India's services exports in February stood at $ 13.16 billion, slightly lower than a month earlier.

Services exports were worth $ 13.93 billion in January, according to the Reserve Bank data.

Imports of services during the month of February also moved down to $ 6.39 billion from $ 7.27 billion in the previous month.

The services sector contributes about 55 per cent to the country's gross domestic product.

During April-February period, services exports were worth $ 152.69 billion.

Total services imports stood at $ 79.7 billion during the first 11 months of 2013-14 financial year.

RBI releases the provisional aggregate monthly data on India's international trade in services with a lag of 45 days.
