Europcar selects TCS as strategic IT partner in France

The financial details of the deal were not disclosed.
After a rigorous evaluation process, Europcar's IT subsidiary Eurocar Information Services (EIS) selected TCS to manage strategic IT services development for its French operations, TCS said in a statement.
"This partnership is part of the development of a strategic relationship with industry leading companies in France. It reiterates TCS' strategic commitment to the region and our ability to create operating models specific to the unique needs of our French clients," TCS France Director and Country Head Kumar Narayanan said.
Europcar Information Services Skill Center Director Pascal Vallerent said, "The objective of the partnership is to continue to improve
our structured and standardised development process across Europcar." This announcement marks further expansion into Europe for TCS' Travel, Transport and Hospitality (TTH) Industry Solution Unit, the statement said.
TCS has operated in France since 1992, with offices in Paris - La Défense and in Toulouse. The unit comprises over 1,000 professionals based both in France and at the company's delivery centres worldwide.
