AMR adventure mall getting ready

City-based AMR Infrastructure is setting up India’s first all-in-one adventure mall with an investment of Rs 1,200 crore at the Tech Zone in Greater Noida. The Great Adventure Mall will open in May this year and will offer the most sought-after adventure activities from around the world including helicopter rides, hot air balloon rides, indoor golf, artificial beach go-karting, reverse bungee jumping and zero gravity and a 5D theatre screenings. The company has already put in over Rs 600 crore into the project.

“Spread over more than 23 lakh square feet area, it will be the country’s first all-in-one adventure and entertainment destination which will redefine realty and set a new benchmark,” said Kapil Agarwal, MD, AMR Infrastructure.

“Many of these adventure activities will be introduced first time in India. The people will witness the thrill of indoor golf course and zero gravity in the country for the first time. Also, the mall will house the country’s first wax museum with wax statues of many celebrities,” he said.

The company is aiming at 6 - 7 lakh footfalls per year at the mall. The mall will be launched in three phases. “The first phase, to be launched during the holiday season in May, will include food court and adventure sporting. Already a gamut of local and international brands have shown desire to open their outlets,” Agarwal told Financial Chronicle.

The second phase, including shopping, will start from December this year, while the third and the last phase will be launched by May next year, he added.
