Canvera teams up with HP, launches Yougraphy range
Online photography company Canvera Digital Technologies, in partnership with IT giant HP, has launched its new range, Yougraphy, which provides consumers the option of turning photos into prints with some cool products and accessories.
“The idea behind the launch of Yougraphy is to convert people’s great pictures into beautiful memories and preserving them rather than keeping the photos in a digital form with the obvious fear of losing it. Yougraphy also has some exciting and quirky collections of offerings for your home and workplace,” said Ranjit Yadav, managing director, Canvera, at the launch.
The Yougraphy range includes photos printed on fine arts canvases, framed posters and prints hung on ethic jute ropes with metal clips. Buyers can order all this online via its website, as Canvera currently doesn’t operate on Apps.
The company also announced a unique code to allow people to browse and order a range of Yougraphy products like prints, posters, canvases, photobooks and sharebooks through its website.
Canvera has deployed HP’s state-of-the-art Indigo Digital Press Technology whoch they claim has revolutionised India’s photo book industry by surpassing conventional technologies on double side printing, variety, speed, quality and cost with the help of ‘non-tearable’ and ‘water-proof’ printing.
Headquartered in Bangalore, Canvera was started by two IITians in 2007. It now has over 700 employees across nine cities, including Gurgaon, Mumbai, Kolkata, Ahmedabad, Chennai and Jaipur. It has 22,000 photographers on its classified business list and over 48,000 professional photographers registered on its marketplace platform, which collectively form its own directory.
Canvera recently raised Rs 20 crore in its Series B round of funding by Footprint Ventures and other participants.
