Porsche, the German super sports car maker, has expanded its Cayenne sports utility vehicle range in India to boost sales in Asia’s third biggest car market during the festive season. After introducing the range-topping Turbo model earlier this year, the brand has now launched two more variants of the third-generation model – the base variant and e-Hybrid Cayenne SUV to lure buyers in India. The Cayenne brand accounts for almost 45 per cent of the Porsche product portfolio in India. The country’s luxury car segment is expected to cross 40,000 units in calendar year 2018. While the base Cayenne is priced at Rs 1.19 crore, the e-Hybrid Cayenne costs Rs 1.58 crore.
