ICICIdirect.Com today announced the launch of "On-the-move", a new website aimed at facilitating high-speed trading for customers who access internet using new-generation technologies like GPRS and data cards.

The new website operates on a low bandwidth and has been designed to solely support trades, thus significantly enhancing the trading opportunities per day for customers, a press release issued here stated.

"The new ICICIdirect.Com On-the-move website will facilitate high-speed transactions and will be equally easy to use and provide the customer's latest portfolio, along with live quotes," ICICI Securities' Executive Director Anup Bagchi said in the release.

These services would be available to its customers at no additional cost, he added.

At present, ICICIdirect.Com has 1.7 million customers.
