MapmyIndia launches GPS navigator for Rs 11,990

Maps and GPS navigation services provider MapmyIndia today launched its new navigation gadget, which is equipped with maps of 401 cities, priced at Rs 11,990.

The device, MapmyIndia LX130, covers over 8.3 lakh km of roads and about 10 lakh points of interest like cinema halls, restaurants and petrol pumps. The device weighs 122 grams.

"MapmyIndia is known for premium range of products. Our research showed that there was a strong demand in the market for a device that would be easy to carry and light on the budget, while maintaining MapmyIndia's superior quality navigation features and maps," MapmyIndia Managing Director Rakesh Verma said.

The device is ideal for students and young professionals, those who travel frequently, officially or for personal reasons, he added.
