LIC purchases Rs 174 crore shares of Ultratech Cement

Life Insurance Corporation (LIC) of India has purchased 24 lakh share of Ultratech Cement

worth Rs 174 crore through an open market transaction.

LIC has purchased 24 lakh shares of the company, representing 1.92 % stake worth Rs 174 crore, Ultratech Cement said in a disclosure to the Bombay Stock Exchange.

Prior to the said buyout, LIC held over 58.14 lakh shares, while now it holds over 82.14 lakh shares of Ultratech Cement.

Shares of Ultratech Cement today settled at Rs 711.95, down 0.24 % on the Board Stock Exchange(BSE).
