Course now on real estate laws

In a bid to ease difficulties involved in property deals and for the promotion of legal education in the real estate sector, the National Law University, Delhi wou-ld soon kick-start a one-year post-graduate diploma course in real estate laws and management.

The university has tied up with Kaden Boriss Legal LLP, a Gurgaon-based corporate and commercial law firm for the same. At present, Kaden Boriss is preparing the course material for the proposed course.

Vice-chancellor of university, Ranbir Singh, said, “We felt the need for a course in real-estate laws and collaborated with Kaden Boriss Legal LLP for that purpose. We hope to launch the programme in a month’s time.”

Kaden Boriss Legal LLP managing director Hemant K Batra said, “The programme will be designed to benefit not only lawyers/ law students who want to specialise in the field of real estate, but would prove beneficial for executives working in real estate and infrastructure companies as well as with real estate consultancy, who dealing with legal and practical problems related to property on a regular basis.”
