Greek Visa Application Centres open in 8 Indian cities

The Embassy of Greece in New Delhi, India extended the facility for collection of visa applications and delivery process to eight new Indian cities, with the appointment of VFS Global, the world’s largest outsourcing and technology services specialist for diplomatic missions and governments worldwide. VFS Global will offer the new visa application services in Bengaluru, Chandigarh, Chennai, Jalandhar, Kochi, Kolkata, Mumbai and Puducherry.

VFS Global already offers visa application services for the Embassy of Greece, in New Delhi. Applicants seeking Schengen visa for Greece can now also avail of similar services offered at VFS Global operated Joint Visa Application Centres at Bengaluru, Chandigarh, Chennai, Jalandhar, Kochi, Kolkata, Mumbai and Puducherry.

VFS Global will be responsible for accepting applications for Greek visas from applicants residing or legally present in India. All applications will continue to be assessed and processed by the Embassy of Greece in New Delhi, India.

The key features of these centres will be longer operating hours, dedicated website for easy access, visa information including visa types, applicable fees and application status, professional and responsive staff dedicated to handle visa queries, dedicated call centre unit and email support.

Applicants can also benefit from a host of other value added services such as photo-booth, photo-copying, online tracking of status, SMS alerts and door-step delivery of passports. The service would attract a nominal service fee, payable at the visa application centres at the time of submitting the application.
