Union Bank Q3 net up 15 pc at Rs 349 cr

Union Bank of India (UBI) today reported a 15.39 per cent rise in its net profit at Rs 348.94 crore for the third quarter ended December 31, 2013.

The PSU bank had a net profit of Rs 302.40 crore in the October-December quarter of 2012-13.

Total income of the bank increased to Rs 8,230.17 crore during the quarter, from Rs 6,959.37 crore in the corresponding period a year ago.

Shares of Union Bank were trading at Rs 105.40, up 1.54 per cent over the previous close on the BSE.
