bagged a Rs 63 crore contract from National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) for toll road collection at Panvel, in Mumbai.

"Sangam (India)... Has bagged a project worth Rs 63 crore from NHAI for toll road collection at Panvel, JNPT section of NH 4B," the textile manufacturer said in a filing to the BSE.

The company said it will operate two toll stations at Chirle and Karanjade.

Sangam is one of the largest manufacturers of polyester viscose dyed yarn in the country.

Shares of the company were trading at Rs 36.90 a scrip, up 9.17 per cent from their previous close, in the afternoon on the BSE.
