Ramky Infra inks pact with NHAI for Rs 1033.65 cr project

Hospet-Chitradurga section of National Highways in Karnataka, entailing an investment of Rs 1,033.65 crore.

"Ramky Infrastructure was awarded the road project by National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) to undertake four-laning of Hospet-Chitradurga section of NH-13 from Km 299 to Km 418 in the state of Karnataka," the company said in a filing to the BSE.

The company has formed a special purpose vehicle, Hospet Chitradurga Tollways, to undertake the project to be implemented under National Highways Development Project (NHDP) phase III on design, build, finance, operate and transfer (DBFOT) mode.

The concession period for the project is 25 years, including the construction period of 910 days, it said.

Shares of Ramky Infra were trading at Rs 233.45, up 11.67 per cent from the previous close on the BSE.
