OBC Q3 net profit down 8% to Rs 326.4 cr

State-owned Oriental Bank of Commerce (OBC) today reported a nearly eight per cent drop in net profit to Rs 326.40 crore for the three months ended December 31, 2012.

The bank had a net profit of Rs 354.22 crore in October- December quarter of 2011, OBC said in a regulatory filing to the stock exchanges.

The bank's total income increased to Rs 4,846.54 crore for the third quarter ended December 31, 2012 from Rs 4,491.76 crore in the corresponding period last year.

Shares of OBC were quoted at Rs 327.65 apiece, up 3.92 per cent in the afternoon trade on the BSE.
