Two-wheeler manufacturer TVS Motor Company today launched the 2012 edition of its popular commuter

The bike, one of the successful models for the two-wheeler maker, has undergone a cosmetic change including dual tone body colours, a new headlamp and clear lens indicators.

"The new motorcycle is a winning combination of executive class features and vibrant styling. The backing of high fuel efficiency and toughness will make TVS StaR City a much sought after motorcycle", TVS Motor Company President (Marketing) H S Goindi said in a statement.

The engine is the same Continuous Variable Timing Ignition unit and facilitates superior pickup and boosts performance, he said.

TVS StaR City would give 83.9 km per litre, the company said, adding that the base version is priced at Rs 38,650 (Ex-showroom Delhi) with a five-year warranty asserting high quality assurance.
