another 135-MW unit at its power plant in Chhattisgarh, taking its total installed capacity to 917 MW.

Commercial operation of the 135-MW unit at Raigarh, in Chhattisgarh, started on January 1, 2012, according to a regulatory filing.

"JSPL is, in total, setting up 10 units of 135 MW each power generation capacity (six units of 135 MW each at Angul in Odisha and four units of 135 MW each at Dongamahua in Chhattisgarh)," the filing said.

With commissioning of the latest unit, the company now has installed four units of 135 MW each— three in Chhattisgarh and one in Odisha.

"The total power generation capacity of the company has increased to 917 MW," it noted.

The company, a part of the diversified O P Jindal Group, has an annual turnover of more than $2.9 billion, as per its website.

Shares of the company declined by over 3 per cent in late afternoon trade to Rs 464.40 on the BSE.
