Glenmark Q3 profit jumps nearly five-fold to Rs 212.91 cr

Glenmark Pharmaceuticals today reported a nearly five fold jump in its consolidated net profit at Rs 212.91 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2013 mainly on account of robust growth across all business verticals.

The company had posted a net profit of Rs 44.82 crore for the corresponding period in the previous fiscal, Glenmark Pharmaceuticals said in a statement.

Consolidated net sales of the company also rose to Rs 1,381.25 crore for the quarter under consideration from Rs 1,031.08 crore for the same period last fiscal.

Shares of Glenmark Pharmaceuticals today closed at Rs 504.05 per scrip on BSE, at same per cent from its previous close.
