For the fourth quarter, the company earned $240.1 million, or 78 cents a share, compared with $206.2 million, or 66 cents a share, a year ago.

Excluding items, it earned 84 cents a share. Revenue rose 27 per cent to $1.66 billion.

Shares of the Teaneck, New Jersey-based company closed at $72.01 on Tuesday on the Nasdaq.
