Total income rose to Rs 3,723.9 crore for the quarter ended March 31, from Rs 3,150 crore in the same period last year, Central
Bank of India said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE).
The bank's board has proposed a final dividend of Re 1 per share to shareholders for the financial year 2009-10.
For the year ended March 31, 2010, the company has reported a net profit of Rs 1,058 crore, up 85.36 per cent over the same period
a year-ago.
Shares of Central Bank of India were trading at Rs 158.90 on the BSE, down 1.40 per cent from previous close.
