Private sector lender Bank of Rajasthan has posted net profit of Rs 17.80 crore

in the second quarter ended September 30, 2009.

Total business has increased to Rs 24,000 crore in the July-September quarter, up 9.09 per cent from Rs 22,000 crore in the corresponding previous quarter, the bank said in a release.

The bank's advances have also increased to Rs 8,038 crore, up 0.68 per cent from Rs 7,983 crore in the corresponding previous quarter.

The deposits have increased to Rs 15,997 crore, against Rs 13,995 crore in the same quarter corresponding fiscal, the release added.
