Aditya Birla Minacs buys UK-based Compass BPO

Bangalore-based BPO firm Aditya Birla Minacs announced that it has acquired UK-based Compass BPO, an end-to-end finance and accounting (F&A) services provider, for an undisclosed amount.

Aditya Birla Minacs will take over all the operations of Compass across the UK, US, West Asia and in India, which brings the F&A employee strength of the former to 600.

Deepak Patel, CEO of Aditya Birla Minacs said, "With Compass forming the core of Aditya Birla Minacs F&A, we are now strongly positioned to be an integral part of our clients’ core processes. This acquisition is part of our strategic roadmap, and brings to Minacs significant credibility."

David McCullough, CEO of Compass BPO, said, “we at Compass are excited at the opportunities for accelerating growth by leveraging Aditya Birla Minacs’ global platform. Our best-in-class F&A expertise and value-added business solutions will bring great advantages to Minacs’ Fortune 500 client base.” David McCullough and Mark Atkins, founders of Compass BPO will join Minacs' management.
