Eicher branded products by utilising its partner Volvo's network in Indonesia within the next 2-3 months.

"We are exploring Volvo's network for exporting Eicher products. We are looking at Indonesia to start with where we will launch a pilot project in the next 2-3 months with two-three vehicles," VECV Chief Executive Officer Vinod Aggarwal told reporters at the Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM) summit here.

The company will export medium duty Eicher branded commercial vehicles from the existing range to Indonesia, he added.

"We are also looking at more regions such as other SE Asian countries, the Middle East and Africa," Aggarwal said.

The company expects about 50 per cent of its total sales coming from exports by 2015. In the last fiscal, it sold 24 thousand units, of which about 8-9 per cent was exported.

In the first seven months of this year the company has sold about 21,500 units, registering a massive 80-90 per cent growth over the same period last year.
