General Motors India launched its premium sedan Chevrolet Sail here today.

A company official said the car since its nationwide launch has received an encouraging response from various parts of the country.

"The eagerly anticipated Sail is an important addition to GM's sedan line-up in India. It completes in one of the largest and fastest-growing segments," Lowell Paddock, President and MD of GM India said here.

The car is available with a choice of diesel and petrol engines.
