Milind Godbole, president of operations — Asia Pacific, Aditya Birla Minacs, said, “Aditya Birla Minacs is on a successful expansion trajectory and continues to grow its footprint in India and abroad. We are proud of the capabilities we have built in Chennai, and are delighted by the work our teams here are doing, supported by the people-focus we have been able to maintain.”
The Chennai unit presently employs about 120 people. The centre is providing clients with support in accounts payable, accounts receivable and reconciliation. In a few months, it will provide expertise in financial planning & analysis, direct & indirect taxation, and other more judgment-driven processes.
The new facility is part of Minacs’ focus on the SMB segment, for which it has been investing significantly in point solutions and platforms as well as in IT infrastructure like networks and servers. These platforms can be integrated with any ERP in the market and thus makes it easier to transition F&A processes for outsourced support by Minacs.
