Rs 169.04 crore to Uttar Pradesh under the Rural Infrastructure Development Fund.

While an amount of Rs 124.44 crores has been sanctioned for modernisation of distribution system and replacement of pump sets of 6800 deep tube well projects, Rs 39.30 crore has been given for construction of 16 rural bridge projects," Chief General Manager, UP regional Office, Nabard, D P Misra said.

Additionally, Rs 5.30 crore has been sanctioned for Tree Improvement Project under Forestry, said Misra.

"On completion of the minor irrigation project, there will be an increase of 37,300 hectare of irrigated land and restoration of 6.8 lakh hectare cultivable land," he added
